NRA’s Basic Personal Protection in the Home course is for law-abiding citizens, as defined by applicable law. It is much more than just a routine shooting course. Beginners will need to complete one of the other pistol courses prior to attending this course. You will receive NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection in the Home. This 225-page book is a very handy resource guide that you will want to refer to from time to time. A center-fire, double-action or semi-automatic pistol is recommended. This course is validated by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and fully complies with Minnesota Statue 624.714 for obtaining a permit to carry in Minnesota. Minnesota Permits to Carry are valid in 20 states.

Refuse to Be a Viction: Personal Safety Course

Goal: To help participants take a pro-active approach to personal safety. (4 hours)

“Refuse to Be a Victim” is a seminar geared towards a wide variety of citizens who want to learn more on Crime Prevention and Personal Safety. Personal Safety is not always convenient. We must integrate the options you choose into everyday life until good habits are formed. Remember, criminals prefer easy targets. The more difficult a target you present, the less likely you are to become a victim. Learn what to do to better protect yourself, friends or employees from becoming victimized at home, work or abroad. This is a traveling seminar that can be put on anywhere. See if your group may benefit with this seminar.
